Thanks to everyone who stopped by Shopko and made a donation for the Christmas packages that the National Guard will be sending to our local soldiers. We filled 2 big boxes with items from books and DVD's to candy and games to instant cameras and phone cards. All in just 1 afternoon. Also, a HUGE thank you to the store manager Chad for allowing us to set up in the store.
You can still make a donation by taking the needed items to the National Guard armory before Friday December 3rd. Volunteers are also needed to wrap gifts. Contact Hiedi Young at the armory if you would like to help.
